St. John the Baptist , its our patron saint here in our province and its feast day. We are celebrating is feast day and we are thankful that finally slowly but surely things in our community is getting back to normal. Our municipal Mayor prepared a lot of activities for the people . There were food fests and musical fests too. Concerts and a lot of guest celebrities to join us in our fiesta or feast day. A lot of food and street dances of thanks to St. John the Baptist who guided us all the way ... VIVA SAN JUAN BAUTISTA THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Question my dear friends, do you also celebrate feast day of your patron saints in your place or country? How do you celebrate?

Yes, here in Switzerland they celebrate their Saint Patron that is St. Nicholas. In Italy we celebrate St. Francis. I was in Portugal one year for the day of San Juan and I remember they celebrated during the whole night.

I remember when I still rent in San Juan MM, I hate going out during the fiesta because I will get wet. Fortunately, during my 5 years stay, I did not experience getting wet.

@jobelbojel You said it right! Haaahaha . Its also a day of gettingyourself wet by splashing water just like what St.John do as a baptist . He baptized Jesus Christ and thats what the people does during feast day.

We don't celebrate a feast day here although individual churches/religions might. I'm glad there was such a lot of entertainment organised for you to enjoy.

@JudyEv Oh I see . Its different from place where you live in , and true with your statement that maybe churches and religions or members of the church or religion would celebrate it . Thank you very much .
