So balut is basically a duck's egg with a duck inside. well some people say its disgusting but it is actually taste wonderful specially the soup in it.
So balut is common in philippines at nightime there are some vendors who are selling it using a vehicle so means they move around the city to sell it. and some have stalls to sell it. but yea it is not recommended for high bloods.
when im low blood I do eat that cuz they say it boost my blood. but if you have normal blood that would be idk. cuz its different effect on some peoples.
but yea its recommended to eat as it was so delicious..

This is a favorite of mine. Among my expat friends and bosses, this is a food that I challenge them to eat.

That is such a sad photo, and then to think people actually eat it? I don't understand how it hasn't hatched at that stage yet. I would never eat that and even if someone offered me 1 million dollars I would still not eat it. I don't eat things that make me sad. I won't eat veal because of the way they treat the calf before they kill it to make veal out of it. I won't eat lamb because they kill a baby animal so someone can eat something that tastes good? Nah...come to think of it I guess I just don't want to eat baby anything!

This is one of those foods on my list of "don't ever eat that," and admittedly my list of things to never eat is rather short. My dad actually ate these when he was in the navy visiting the Philippines and told me it is one of the most disgusting foods he has ever put in his mouth. lol
I am going to leave him at his word. lol
