A kitten rescued by a trio of city agencies from a storm drain in Michigan

A kitten who was trapped in a storm drain on Wednesday in Lansing Michigan had the good fortune that a concerned person contacted the Lansing city officials to inform them of the incident.
Ingham County Animal Control (ICAC) officials along with the officials of the Lansing Public Service and police officers from Lansing to work together to rescue the six week old kitten from the storm drain to be taken to an Ingham County Shelter where is being treated for hypothermia.
The kitten will be looking for a loving family to be adopt as soon as he makes a full recovery from what appears to be two days in the storm drain.
The kitten is now named Jordan after the river of the same name.

My guess is that the kitten was probably swept by a rainstorm in the area.

I appreciate those helping animals in trouble. I did help kittens trapped in the drain. It is only 60 meters deep, so I just picked it up and place it else where.

What a strange place for a kitten to wind up. Maybe the kitty was seeking shelter? The police are always serving the public, even non-human ones
