The temperature dropped

We had a storm front move through. The temperature dropped and that felt good. I mowed a bit more. I just need to get to it. Hubby got the rider mower out, in the heat of the day, and then did not get around to any mowing. It is okay. I mowed, and it thundered. Then big fat drops of rain fell, for just a little while. It sure felt good to have those drops land on me. Tomorrow will be slightly cooler, then we will go sky high for temperatures. I had foods I had prepped yesterday, along with a salad. Now I am really sleepy. See you tomorrow.

I understand how you feel. This afternoon we had a massive storm hit, and it cooled things down quite a bit. We may or may not see rain tomorrow as a result, but I'm thankful for what we did get even if it made me both tired and cold.

No rain until Wednesday but the temperature is not too bad, hot but breezy and dry, it could be worse.

Overall it seems like the heat is hanging on more than usual this year. Not quite 100 degrees, but just day after day of 95 and above. Anything below 90 feels good.

We had a huge downpour about 8 pm. Came down hard and in sheets, a bit of hail, too. Then it was all over. 10 minutes, tops. And the rain made it more humid than ever for a while. It's cooled off now, though.
