This Has Been A Very Trying Time / myLot

We have still been going to the nursing home, the 3 days Jim gets out of dialysis, so we make sure he eats. We take food that is going to help him not be so weak. I have really been going a lot, and I'm tired. He has begun to try and feed himself. His nurse apologized to me this morning because, she was late giving him his bath. I told her not to worry, I use to do that kind of work, on holiday weekends they hardly show up. I am trying to catch up here and home. Have a great fourth.

It is very tiring to care for people who are sick or who require special care. My mom went through this and it was exhausting. I've also helped to take care of it and it really is a lot of work. May God give you much strength.

My mother was in a nursing home, she adjusted very well to this change.

Trying to provide a good diet that is appealing to someone who is weak is hard. I know it is quite the strain visiting the nursing home so often.

It’s easy to pick on the nursing home staff, but in reality they’re overworked, understaffed, underpaid, and usually under-trained for the job they’re doing. You have a restful evening.
