For years, at the other house, Pretty and I sat out in our yard and watched the neighbors shoot off fireworks and added the small items we bought to the fun. Then, around 15 years ago, I started having allergic reactions any time we walked through smoke from setting fireworks off. Now, we know to stay away from the fireworks shows or I might end up in the hospital In this house, we can't even see the neighbors setting off any fireworks. There are too many trees on our property that stop us from doing anything except hearing fireworks going off somewhere in the distance. *shrug*

Living in Hawaii, day is still 3rd. My 4th, flag display by my window, wear red, white and blue. I wait for tv fireworks for the 4th. Going to treat myself to soy chicken from Marukai Wholesale Mart, plate lunch, and cook up some hot dogs. Veggies and for dessert sweet potato & nectarine. Quiet day for me. Going to hope to watch tv special shows. Happy 4th!
