Happy 4th of July

To those who celebrate, I wish you a Happy 4th of July (Independence Day). We should all remember the meaning of this day as we enjoy the fireworks and barbecues. Fly your flag proudly today!
We aren't doing anything special. The fireworks in the area started at 9:30 last night and never stopped until 11 pm. We will be having some KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) and all the sides for lunch today. We have no other plans. I'm sure the fireworks will be numerous again tonight.

We're just going to get some needed work done. Gotta put together a new ladder for the pool and we have other things needing done. The fireworks last night went on all night—it was like a war zone out there. lol. Flag is flying, but it usually is at my house.

It's going to be hot here today. Will probably just hibernate in the AC. Hubs needs to get the flag out.

@LindaOHio Yes. Get that flag out. As for me, when the wifey gets back from the Y we are going to put together a new pool ladder we got.

Yeah, when we were younger we used to go out and see fireworks. Now they set them off all around us all night long!

Just working on my PC no celebrating here, Daytona Beach is a resort town and it is surprisingly quiet this Fourth not even concerts on the beach,

That's odd. Most of the towns have gone back to their pre-COVID-19 celebrations.

As the song says, I'm proud to be an American. But we don't really celebrate the fourth, no particular reason. Dale had a sleep study done last night, so he's napping and we might fry some fish later.
