I heard a piece of good news from my younger brother. My uncle who was hospitalized because of difficulty in breathing. It took two weeks for him to stay in this facility. All I know is that he got sick due to being a heavy smoker and drinker of alcohol. I hope that this will be a wake up call to him now. Do you know somebody who smoke or drink heavily? Did you ever try to talk with him or her to stop?
I just received a message from my aunt that his brother is in the ICU right now. He was rushed to the local hospital because of difficulty of breathing this...

The fact that he was able to bounce back after that crucial time is fantastic news. However, you are correct that he needs to pay closer attention to his health now that he is in that circumstance. He needed additional time to heal from his problem because he was in the hospital for such a prolonged period of time.

You said the right words about him. The accompanying physicians undoubtedly advised him to start over. If he refuses to listen, he can endure worse consequences than what already occurred.

This is a good news for your uncle and I hope he will fully get well soon. Of couse I also hope he will consider to get of his unhealthy habits such as smoking and drinking. I'm glad some years ago my dad already quit smoking. It was not easy but finally he made it. At that time, when he felt like smoking, he would go to do some housework such as mopping the floor. Then after some time, he didn't want to smoke any more

I am aware of someone who smokes a lot. He abruptly stopped smoking one day without warning. He simply does not want to smoke or drink. In fact, there is no decreasing technique in their use.

My younger brother visited him at his place last night. It seems that he stopped his vices from being hospitalized. I hope he will continue being like this.

@Shavkat Sometimes people find it really hard to give up their addictions, even after a health scare.

Yes I do and it doesn’t do any good to talk to a smoker. They will smoke in spite of anything you say. I hope your uncle will be okay.

I hope he really stops smoking. I am sure it is not easy but he needs to for him to live longer.

I think the doctor advised him to stop these two things. It is about time, right?

@Shavkat I say yes, especially if he knew how much you worried about him.

Glad to know that your uncle is discharged and is at home now. One of my friends was a heavy smoker, I used to tell them not to smoke much but he never took me seriously and had some heart issues for which surgery was done, and now he has stopped smoking.
