Continuing from my previous post: Things looked smooth, at least from the place hunting point of view. Yet once the shifting date came closer and my (now earlier one)Landlord came to know, he threw another spanner. Actually I had planned to take out my major things through Truck and then some other breakable items afterwards over 4-5 days. But he said that He would come to take the keys on my major shifting date and not allow me more days after that. His tone and talk were very bitter and so discordant. I tried to argue in an amicable way but he was stubborn! Inside I felt big rage. But then, I thought that U would manage. We started taking a few of our things before. On the big shifting date, he and a few more of his family came. He still said a few things and delayed our shifting bit somehow we got everything including some final settlements. Overall a bad feeling but well, a move to the next life stage; albeit with hard lessons learnt. Thanks to all those who read me patiently and shared their views and wishes. It helped me a lot in clearing my mind, and this is what brings me back to here again and again!! I hope to bring some other enjoyable ones in the future. Have a nice Tuesday!

@jstory07 Still settling. I won't say very happy but at much more peace. Plus having a smaller place would mean it can be managed more easily.

It doesn't say much for your former landlord if he put so many obstacles in your way. I hope your next place is better.

He was one very bitter landlord. Glad that you were successful in finding another place.

@Kandae11 And the bitterness and bad behavior was the worst in the end! I felt over-suspicion too. Now gradually settling down.
