And he had great timing. Right after he came in it poured outside. I did my morning chores a little bit early as I could see very dark clouds coming in. I just made it before the rain hit. The sky was so dark that my lights turned on outside. I have them on a solar sensor so they are not on all the time. We got over 2 inches of rain overnight. That was before this storm hit. I will share a video of part of the storm last night. George was in his building most of the night. Not sure what I will be doing today. Slicing the cucumbers wont take me very long and they will just go in salt water. I did get a couple of pieces of material cut out last night. Might finish that today. I decided on a sun dress first. WOW, that was a good thunderstorm and pouring rain, what we need here. I picked up some tomatoes today and the two first Jalapeno peppers, I am very happy. Did you let Houdini in?

We have had over 4 inches the last couple of days. Sending the next one to you as we need a break. I now need to weed the garden. This photo was taken when he started wanting back out after the rain stopped

With cats is all the time "I want to come in...now I want to go out". It rained during the night, later than they had predicted, but I had to get up to close the shutters.

We didn't see any rain today. It was just hot and humid outside. We topped out at 100F with the heat index at 108F. Pretty went out and mowed for a little while today. She came in dripping with sweat. I got the rest of the shawarma bagged up for the freezer this evening and the rest of the cabbage and beef put into baggies for freezing. Pretty pulled everything out of the fridge and threw away some moldy food we didn't remember putting in there so I had a double sink of dishes to wash. I divided up a ham and froze half of it and put the other half into a Ziploc bag so we could make up sandwiches with it when we felt like eating. I spent most of the day Wednesday and almost all day Thursday listening to my laptop read books to me and sleeping. My eyes were swollen shut so there wasn't a whole lot else I could do. *shrug* It happens. i wish the new meds would kick in and stop that from happening.

@wolfgirl569 We don't like finding moldy food, either. The eyes swelling closed is more an annoyance than anything else.

I Hate when I find food that I forgot about. Hope the medicine starts working. That would be hard to deal with
