Good day. Not literally studying but I am learning from a Filipino Vlogger who is currently based in Equatorial Guinea. He works as a Data Encoder. He helps kids, family and others with their grocery. The Vlogger translate their conversation to Filipino. So I like it because I can learn Spanish words. I think, Equatorial Guinea is the only country in Africa that speaks Spanish. Adios!

That's great, the best way to learn, is from someone who speaks it.

@MALUSE I agree if the goal is to really learn fluency. For the goal of only learning words not phrases or sentences, the person who speaks the language can be a good teacher.

@jobelbojel Why would one only learn single words? You don't need a teacher for this. You can look up words in a dictionary.

One would assume this, wouldn't one? Yet, this is not the case. Could you teach a foreigner your native language English? Can you explain the grammar rules? Only children learn by listening and imitating. Adults want to know why one says this or that in a certain way. The best way to learn a foreign language is to have a good teacher who has learned to teach the language in question.

I would like to check it out if I have more time learning other languages. But for now, Spanish or Italian would be fine. Next would be French.

@RubyHawk so true. Our old people knew how to speak the language. In fact there is one province down south that speaks Spanish Creole. Called Chavacano.
