Out and on the road

We left the house before 8 this morning, because we had to drive over an hour to an appointment.It was a follow up at the Infectious Disease Doctor. We saw a RNPA, not the actual doctor. In a lot of ways the trip seems pointless, as nothing new was learned. Nothing was done. She was very nice, though. They have to monitor how his PICC line is looking, and check his labs. There is potential for liver and kidney damage from the long term antibiotics. He will go two more times. I took food with us, so we stopped at a nice park and had a picnic on our way home. Much less expensive than eating out. There was a shaded pavilion, and the park has a "splash pad", so we watched some children play. It is about six degrees cooler today and I think the splash pad makes the air cooler as well. It was a good lunch. Since we had eaten, we went ahead to his IV infusion in Marion. When we got home, we took a nap. I think Bob is still sleeping and it is almost 5:00 p.m. I just thought I would explain where I have been all day.
