Hello myLot. so while I was scrolling through Facebook I saw this shared post.
That stating. (JUST IN: Vice President and DepEd Secretary Sara Duterte says that uniforms will not be required this coming school year in public schools "to avoid incurring additional costs to the families of our learners." )
So I actually dont know if it is real or its a fake news. but If that will gonna happen. I will gonna like it as just like in USA, and other countries. that uniform is not required. so students can have their own style and unique outfit.
So what do you think about this?
Can you share it in the comments.
This news is for Philippines. but People from other countries can also give their opinion.

When I went to public school, we didn't have a uniform. I like we didn't. I liked wearing my own clothes. We did have a dress code though. I did wear short shorts to school on the last day.

If the picture is for everyone, taking a screenshot is allowed. It is yours.
Anything that will lower costs for the parents of the school kids is a good thing. (And yes, that is a real announcement from your government.)

I do not know if this will be good or bad but I know the purpose of uniforms is to identify them as students of a certain school. When you allow students to wear casual wear it would be more costlier for the parents since they will have to buy other dress other than the prescribed uniform. But I think the students will like it since they are free to wear the clothes they want.

My kids went to an academy for a few years and had to wear uniforms. There is pros and cons for both ways.
