New plant of my mom

So we just came back from a long walk. Me and my mom decided to go to her friend and ask for a kitten to raise here. (Cuz we have alot of rats that is pooping and peeing in my office)
*Bigger than kitten*
So we got in there but there is no kitten anymore. It's all full grown cat. And my mom don't want those cuz they are already big and they might be agressive.
So yeah she just got plant from her friend instead..
What about you? Does in your area have rats too? And you have any pet? Or plan to get rid of them?

@DevMrSamEleazar This is true, if you grow the kitten he will like to stay with you and do not try to run away.
Yes, we have garden snakes, those are not dangerous, not venomous, but I do not like them.

Yea we know that. but we do gonna find kitten cuz we wanna raise it. cuz if we just get it if its already big it might just escape the house cuz he/she dont wanna be hear cuz it already own a life from outside like that.
If we raise it here the cat will knew that its their house so they will return here no matter what.
Wait you do have snakes?

I hope your mom's plant eats lots of rats!
I saw and killed a rat when I lived on the farm but have never seen one in the city where I live. If we saw one here, we'd get a big trap and catch it. (That's what we do if we think there might be mice in the house. We set traps and kill them. We haven't seen mice in this house, either.)
At the house Pretty and I moved from, we caught mice in the Spring and in the Fall when they tried to move into the house with us. We always trapped them and killed them.
We only have fishies as pets. I'm allergic to animals with fur.

Nope it will not. come on you are attacking again. I just made a successful defense and ahhh you are on full army again..
well my mom dont like to kill or trap Rats. cuz if we put glue like the glue trap. It will just stuck but still alive and she dont wanna get it if still moving.
and if she put poison rat food. (can be bought in store) it might eat it. and go somewhere inside the house and die. and when it decomposed it smell so bad. she dont like it so

@DevMrSamEleazar Oh, nope... Don't they sell rat traps like this one? It kills the rat so it can be put in the trash can and taken out with the trash. That's what we do with them and mice we trap here.
Most cats are scared of rats here.

We had lots of rats in the previous home but not here.
We used to keep a glue pad in the corners of the house and used to capture them. It's hard to see them once they are glued to the pad.
You can keep a cat also, mostly they are not aggressive.

@DevMrSamEleazar that's one of the reasons I also don't use rat poison. I remember in our old house my sister-in-law used to use rat poison and the rats used to die on our floor. And we used to notice it when they smelled and it's not easy to throw the decomposed rat.

Ohh my mom dont like to put poison rat food, or Trap in it. cuz she scared to pick it like. if it got in glue its still alive. so she will get it moving but just glued.
If she put poison it might die somewhere and when it decomposed it smell so bad.
So yea she want a cat to do it. Not to kill it but to scare it

We got some small rats in the house. But the big ones don't escape my dogs wrath. sadly, they don't spare cats that passed by.

In my family home my nephew and sister like the company of cats a lot. We have six cats in this home. Four male and two female.

ohh well that is nice. last time we have a cat its a girl so it have babies. but when we Go change house. we cannot catch our cat. So we just left it there, Sadly. She just keeps running. you know cats are so speed
