Long time I never create a discussion on myLot!
Yesterday, my mother, my father, my brother and me went to the booster vaccine booth and when we got there I asked the officer who distributed the forms and he said the quota had run out and after about 30 minutes we walked around the mall and I asked again. -Suddenly the officer called me to immediately fill out the registration form and when I was checked my blood pressure was abnormally high it reached 138 and luckily I was able to continue while my mother is also taller at 170 then my mother was checked many times and finally all got a third vaccine or booster.

Yes, my blood pressure is always higher if I've done some kind of exercise. (I normally take my BP right after I wake up and right before I go to bed.)
Usually, if I've been walking right before I reach the doctor's office, they'll take my BP and then wait a little while and take it again.

@DaddyEvil In Indonesia, we only having first booster. I think I don't need another booster.
Usually I only need 3 days to recover.

@May2k8 I got my second booster last month. I got shots yesterday of a medication and will go in two weeks to get the second shot for shingles. (I'll never need another shot for shingles after that.)
I hope you feel better quickly.

Yep, don’t walk alot before you go to a doctors appointment you BP will be high because your moving causing your blood flow to increase to get more oxygen to your body. Yep so that seems right. My husband is nurse and some time they have people walk or run to there appointments since Thursday live close by and have to wait till there heart reset returns to a resting rate which means your ever day heartbeat when your not causing stress from workout or extremely conditions of walking a lot.

@ShyBear88 it mean I should rest my legs for a while to let the blood flow.

@May2k8 you can sit you legs work to bed and put you butt on a floor or bench or even chair. You could just stand that doesn’t nothing to your BP standing still. You choice to walk vs two other very logical options.

They are supposed to let you relax a bit before they take your BP, especially since you've been walking around then had to hurry back.
