What am I?

The possible unanimous answer would be a waffle but this isn't just a waffle as the main ingredients are egg and cheese. Because of the cheese they are called chaffles. I'm sure I wrote about these back in 2019 when I was doing keto for over a year. While there are many types of chaffles from plain to spicy to sweet I mainly just make the ones with egg and mozzarella cheese so I can use them instead of bagels and put cream cheese on top. I'm including a link on the various types of chaffles and I'm not affiliated with this person in any way.
Learn how to make chaffles that are crispy and chewy, NOT eggy! Includes the best basic keto chaffle recipe, 4 other flavors (sweet and savory), tips, and substitutions.

@aninditasen with the is floor is used it's either almond flour, 2 tablespoons or of coconut flour then only two teaspoons. Is I decide to try it with flour I'll have to buy more I think.

Sounds quite delicious. I am sure I wouldn't use mozzarella since to me it has no taste but another type of cheese would be yummy.

Having a bland flavor is the main reason it is used so it doesn't take over any other Flocka you're wanting to include. But, I read the link again and the author said some use cheddar instead, or at least I think that's the type she mentioned. She also says if two tablespoons of almond flour are included it won't taste as eggy. I don't mind the eggs taste but I bought almond flour today too try them that way.

I’ve made many different kinds of waffles but I don’t think I’ve made Chaffles.

They are very popular among people doing the keto diet. But they are good even when not dieting.

They can be made and eaten many different ways but I mostly make it the way I did today. I need to use up my mozzarella cheese before it expires so I decided to begin making them again. And maybe I'll lose a few pounds in the process if I can stay away from the sweets.

They sound delicious! Does the waffle maker get too dirty? I would think that it sticks.

I use Pam spray in the waffle iron before I begin and only have to spray it once. I forgot to mention in my post that they work best with a mini waffle maker.

I think they are pretty good even without using any flour. I use a mini waffle maker to make them

I made a lot of them back in 2019-2020. I wouldn't mind losing ten more pounds so I'll be having them for breakfast more again.
