For a grand total of 69 pints of green beans from my first picking. 2 of them are in the fridge as one didnt seal out of that many. I need 2 for tomorrow. I will fix beans, potatoes and ham so that unsealed one dont go bad.
I was surprised at how many more beans I got from just 3 rows. I had picked 4 rows yesterday. With doing that much I never got anything else done except watching some tv while snapping beans. I just pulled the last 9 out of the canner at 10 PM. I should get a 2 week break or so. I might sell some from the next picking. Especially if it looks as good as this one did.
Tomorrow I do need to give Duke his shower with the new shampoo. I was hoping to do that today. Except for that I am not going to do too much. I have earned a relax day.
Hope you had a good day.

"Earned a relax day"... are you kidding me?
You only picked a couple of beans!
Okay, so you might have been a bit busy... Did you remember to give George some loving?

@wolfgirl569 Sorry, I can't. I'm not supposed to be in the sun that long.
You pick and I'll snap and set them to soak.
At least he knows you're there if he needs something.

Your coming to do the next round of them right?

Home grown green beans are the best. I love them fresh, but I also love the home canned ones. A chunk or two or ham or bacon, and like you said, some potatoes, makes a meal in one.

Yours is by all standards a farm and not a garden.
