We all get stains of every kind. It is very hard to remove some of them. Chocolate, grease, ink, and paint are just a few. I hope you find this handy chart helpful. I printed a copy for myself to try them out! Good luck

I have good luck by dampening the stain with cold water and then scrubbing it with OxiClean before washing whatever it is in cold water. (My ex-wife once bought jeans for our daughter that were supposed to have that "dirty" look permanently embedded in them. I wasn't aware that was "the style" at the time, so when the jeans came up in my laundry, I used OxiClean on them... and pulled all the dirt stains out of them... my ex was angry but our daughter kept laughing and saying I was the only parent who could get "permanent" stains out of clothes. )

@Ganma7 Thank you... It was most fun for me because it made my ex mad.

For grease dusting with flour is better than using chalk. I always try a hidden corner before using hydrogen peroxide, as it has mild bleaching properties.

That's a very useful chart. Some stains can be very hard to remove if you don't go about it the right way.

I had ink stain once on my shirt and it was red and I used bleach on it and it was such a disaster.I regretted using it when i was a kid not knowing how bleach works. If only this chart was around.I learned my lesson back then when my mom caught me.

@Ganma7 It's great idea that you shared this instead of me rather googling how to remove this or that.
