What to do with myLot bucks?

Saw an email that myLot paid me. Didn’t expect that today. It got me thinking. What can I spend my myLot bucks on? If went to Starbucks I wouldn’t even be able to buy a hot chocolate and an almond croissant. Maybe I should buy some lottery scratch-offs. I can potentially win some good money. And I will have some fun doing them. Or maybe I can insert them into a slot machine and give it a spin. Never know what that will result in. Perhaps putting it into a piggy bank is a good idea, except I don’t have one. What else can I do? Decisions, decisions.

I let my earnings build up all year in my PayPal account along with all my other online and passive incomes, and then I cash it out in December to use as spending money on my annual Christmas/New Years Disney World trip. I’m always surprised every year at how much builds up in the account.

@lovebuglena It sure does. I don’t take any penny for granted, because it does all add up over time.

Usually whatever I get from online things I transfer to the bank right away. Don’t like keeping a PayPal balance. And if I buy anything online and use PayPal it’s linked to my credit card for that.

What you’re doing is good too. Every little bit adds up in the end.

I just transferred it to my bank already for me to buy some for my wife on Friday of our 18th wedding anniversary.

I just let it sit in Paypal and let it build up - until it's needed. Last year I got a chromebook cover case from my son's school's PTA . . . I was able to pay via Paypal - and I think that was my last Paypal purchase .

@much2say I got that. Just wasn’t sure what chromebook was. Not familiar with it.

@RebeccasFarm It will be a while before I get to scratch them. My mom took them with her to her summer cottage by accident.

I didn't hit the bank for July and knew I wouldn't before the first week was out, but I did not let that bother me. I buy Henry's food or kitty litter with the money whenever I am paid.

Earnings get carried over so it’s not a big deal I think.

I let it pile up and then I transfer it into my checking account and use it to go out to eat. Buy a piggy bank if you like that idea! :-D

It’s funny, I found a piggy bank (though not a pig but some Irish person) in my basement. Previous tenants must have left it. Just like they left their old dishwasher and some other crap when they moved out. I’m gonna throw it out though.

I get the amount transferred to my bank account with the other savings and use it when it's required.

Well, of course for me the answer is simple and nothing new to anyone here who knows me. I always invest it. Always.
