When I was younger in my teenage years,I was a huge fan of some celebrities such as actors and singers. For me,I bought magazines, collected some posters and bought the occasional merchandise once in a while. It seem that some fans are so invested in a team or artist that they alter their daily routines to show their support. Some of the fans may show their enthusiasm in many different ways, such as by promoting the object of their interest, being members of a related fan club, holding or attending in a fan conventions or even simply writing fan mail. Additionally, they may also engage in creative project such as writing fan fiction or drawing fan art. Did you ever do any of this when you admire any celebrities, sport team or any other entertainer of some sort?

I would say that I'm really not a fan of any celebrity other than BTS, the South Korean K-pop group, though they are much more than K-pop. Growing up, I was never really a big fan of any celebrity. I didn't put up posters or anything like that. But my sister's walls were full of posters of Donny Osmond and David Cassidy, Bobby Sherman, etc.!

BTS is very popular among people here in my country.I'm not much of a BTS fan but I did like some of their catchy tune song like Dynamite.

Last time, when I was still young, I do collect albums from Simple Plan. But as I grow older and aware the importance of money and savings, even I like EXO, I don't collect their physical albums anymore. Digital is here and I keep it all in my phone. Though, I do still keep a bit of EXO Baekhyun's sign and photocard and his online ticket concert. But that's it. I keep as a normal supporter, not belonging to any fandoms and such.

Not really. I had my favorites but I was never a die hard fan. Especially because I was exploring a lot and I would soon switch to a new favorite so there was no time to be a fan. I still have some artists that I follow but nothing like that.

I enjoyed listening to a variety of musicians back then, but never to the point where I'd buy their goods. I used to collect songs and compile them to CDs though, that was a thing before.

Like every kid, I also used to like actors and singers, those were the days when I used to see the movies and used to say the dialogue like my favorite actor used to deliver in the movie. But I never invested money or time in them. I never bought a poster or wrote a letter to them. I used to collect audio cassettes (in those days) of my favorite singers that's it. I never bought a video cassette of my favorite actors because they were costly.

Nope. I never cared who was "popular" or famous... What they do didn't affect me in any way. *shrug* I grew up on a farm way out in the middle of nowhere. When I was a kid, our television only got three channels. I spent most of my teenage years reading books or riding our horses. (I'm also getting older, so this fascination with what was popular didn't happen as much back then or possibly I just didn't notice it happening.)

I guess I'm the opposite of you,my teenage years was all about gaming and tv and occasional reading books. So does that mean you don't even have one favorite actor even.

I wish I had the talent to draw and paint.Maybe if I had I'd probably done it as well. The closest I do in the form of art is doing collages of my celebrity.

Fanatic means being super obsessed, right? Regular fandom is not obsession nor fanatical unless to the point of stalking etc. I am into pop songs and books at the moment. Fanatic, not at all. How about you?
