How often do you MyLot?

How active are you on here? Do you just come on to comment on people's posts? Do you share posts on here? Do you have a set amount of posts to make, comment on, like? What is your goal on MyLot? My goal is to talk to people in the void. I've been told by people in the past that I should get a therapist but that's not quite what I need. I need friends but friends are hard to make so I came back to MyLot. I came for the community, the wide variety of topics to comment on, to watch people's lives without having to be in their lives. I can talk about happy, sad, mad, stress, and everything in between. I can give people ideas as they see my financial journey inch along like a crippled uhaul trying to climb up a hill fully loaded. They can come and grab a random recipe from time to time. There is all sorts of things to find to talk about on here. My question is, why do you MyLot?

Lots of questions! Well I come on daily when I’m free. Yes I comment on peoples post that get my attention as well as making my own if I have anything to post about. I check my notifications daily as best as I can because I’m busy being a mom and writing my book that I’m working on.

@fatragu I’m working on chapter 9 so it’s been good! Some chapter I move faster through then other just depends on what I need to do for the day and if I can actually sit down to write

I would love to get to that point but I need to manage my time better. I can't do it at work so I'm limited to when I'm home after getting my daughter from her job. On the nights she works I get 5 or so hours before I have to be back up for work.

I enjoy being on myLot. I was forced into retirement last year so I have time to pop in here for an hour or two off and on during my day. I always find friends I've made here and enjoy talking with them. I've been here for almost eight years and have written 86 discussions that are still extant. Writing discussions and taking care of the people who comment on them wear me out. (Some people make it more difficult than it needs to be to comment on responses they leave on a discussion... If I can't think of anything to say to what they've written, then I usually ignore their response. ) If you write interesting discussions, then you'll probably find me on a couple of them every day. (This is going to sound bad but... I will normally talk on two posts a day written by the same person. I skip anything else they post that day. *shrug* I'm not the only one who does that.) I just like to talk to people who enjoy talking...

@fatragu People like that, I ignore. Most people on myLot are willing to talk with me as long as I can keep the conversation interesting. And some, like to tease and play a lot. (We call it "talking nonsense"... ) I really hope you fine everyone here interesting and engaging.

Why? Good question. Cause I am a blabbermouth? Cause I want to stretch my writer skills? Most of the times I have posted poetry folks were tolerant but not sounding delighted. Cause I feel the itch to share my animal woes?

When I worked for myself I was on here more. Now that I work 11 hour days and then have to wait 4 more hours until my daughter is done with her job to come home I am limited to a couple times a week for being on here.

How often I mylot? = This year, I think a few times a week. Why do I mylot? 1. It is super legit. 2. It really pays me. 3. I can talk about daily lives here. 4. Friendly and some constructive ideas here.
