Are People Really This Dumb?

I have been watching "Judy Justice" on Freevee television. You may remember Judge Judy Scheindlin, who has been judging for about 50 years and has been on tv for as long as I can remember.
I can believe how stupid some of these litigants are. They bring no paperwork or proof and just expect the judge to believe them and give them the money they are suing for.
I am not real smart about such things but I do know that in any argument you need proof.

@celticeagle To appear on such a program as that shows a lack of common sense - they’re just setting themselves up for public humiliation. Of course they haven’t to either to know everyone’s laughing at them.

Yes, that happens in real courts, too. I used to be involved in a lot of court cases (No, I wasn't being sued or suing someone else.) and people really did expect the judge in their case(s) to believe their side of the case without ever showing any proof that they were telling the truth. It was really sad at times.

I also watch Judge Judy on YouTube. Also Judge Lauren in Paternity Courts. The cases and the people coming are so appalling sometimes and so stupid the other times. You only talk about proofs but you forget that they are entitled enough to believe that Judge should do what they want. My mind boggles when they leave offended!!
