Did things a little backwards.

Normally I post a discussion, then work on notifications. I decided to work on my notifications, first. Now they're out of the way. So, I'm thankful for that. A little update on Mama: I found some wet food she seems to want to eat. I gave her a second feeding. Hoping she'll start to make a bit more of a turn around. Only time will tell.

I almost never write, I check the notifications first then I start to read the new posts.

I've found doing a little of everything helps me earn the most. I can draw more people to my discussions if I respond to theirs. And, they in turn comment back to me. I also like to stay on top of my discussions and interact with those around me to keep the positive energy going.

@LadyDuck I set a goal of one discussion a day. If I have time, or think of something, I'll post more in a day. But, one a day seems to give me some footing and income, in case I don't have time to comment or respond to discussions.

@kaylachan I made more when I also posted discussions, but I have no time for doing both right now.

I don't consider reading notifications as 'work'. MyLot is a hobby for me, not work.

I actually look forward to my interaction here at the end of the day. Is it a hobby? Or just another form of socializing?

@TheHorse Why 'either - or' and not 'as well'?

The effort to read and write a proper reply, often feels like 'work', because it can be a real challenge. Plus, since my interactions are what make the pennies, it's more motivation.

For me starting a discussion is a very cumbersome task as then one has to comment back on all the responses to continue. And you know I am a lazy sort of a person, moreover, sometimes you dont get anything in your head and have to write almost the same comment everywhere.

Most people chose to comment back, but it's okay if you don't. You shouldn't feel forced to. I make it a habit to try, but for a while I didn't.

Hi I like the way you manage your discussion. The interaction is interesting and I love reading the responses and your comments.

Thank you, I try. Not all of them are a hit, but I don't worry so much about that.

I don't really have a set method of doing things here. I just do what feels right at the time, and of course it's just for fun mostly, so I don't worry too much about it either.

Yeah, everyone is entitled to do as they wish. I like to post a discussion a day. So, I might write something random that doesn't make a lot of sense, but people will post their opinion anyway.

@kaylachan I like a lot of variety in my posts, but then, I also have quite a lot of things that interest me to talk about. Plus, it leaves a little something for everyone.

I always start with my notifications. After going over them, I go next to my discussions and then post a question. Or just go over my notifications only. It depends upon my mood or readiness to answer questions, .

I should give Kitty some wet food. I have to head out again in an hour.

I try to complete notifications first, then write a discussion. However, I find myself hopping all over the place. I’m happy that Mama ate again. Prayers for her just sent.

I also hope for her to make a turnaround on this eating thing and get stronger and more healthy.

Same here. We're far from out of the woods, but if she continues to show interest in food she won't cross of starvation.
