Supper Surprises

I don't cook a big meal every day. Sometimes we just sandwiches or something light for supper. This evening I decided to surprise my husband with a good homecooked meal when he came home. I got everything cooked and he called on the phone on his way home and told me he had ordered a pizza to bring home. I has messaged him I was cooking but he didn't see it. I had made fried green tomatoes, one of his favorites. So I put the rest of the food away and we had pizza and fried green tomatoes for supper. I was going to surprise him with dinner and he was going to surprise me by ordering out. lol

It's so nice that both of you were thinking of each other... What do fried green tomatoes taste like? For the longest time I never knew they were a thing other than a movie title ??
