Retro candy

Shopping at Ala Moana Longs I noticed Colored Puff Rice candy. I stopped and paused looking in disbelief at this scrumptious delightful candy from my youth!
I glanced at it, picked it up and gingerly held the package of Colored Puff Rice. Memories of childhood flavors one of them, colored puff rice, brought a huge smile to my face.
Happily, I stood in line to pay for my retro colored puff rice. The cashier was my age, "oh how nostalgic" she said swiping my package. Yes, I said smiling till I left Longs, that day. How about you, any retro finds recently?

@oahuwriter OH yes it is..one time I found some from my days too back in the day at a little shop near the mountains here..some Mary Janes remember those? They were peanut butter chewy candies.

Puffed rice is still famous in India and most Indians like it. We have different ways of taking it. I take it with with roasted peanuts, raw onions and few drops of mustard oil.
