Strange day..........

Yeah, a really strange day..................
First of all it was cool all day, it never got over 81f plus we got some rain, some nice slow rain. I just hope this isn't an indicator that it's gonna get really cold here this year, I'm not prepared for that.

I am so very impressed with Chewy. At the end of July I ordered a vest for Roscoe. Now I've never actually figured out how to put those things on a dog but I gave it my best shot ...... poor Roscoe hates that thing plus it makes him too hot, maybe if it gets cold enough he'll like it ......... anyway, I called them and told them about the problem and the rep immediately initiated a refund without asking for the vest to be returned, I was stunned.
So, not giving up on the idea to get Roscoe into a harness, I checked around other sites and found one.
Well, I tried to follow their instructions about measuring him to get a good fit but that lil tyke fought me tooth and nail, just when you think you know your dog he throws you for a loop, 
well, I did get his neck measurement and got a close chest measurement but it wasn't a good set of measurements so now I have ordered another one in large which will probably fit him the way it's supposed to.
I have a lot to learn about harnesses but I'm gettin there. It's a lot easier to control Roscoe with that vest than it was with a collar.

I just wanted to show you my first 2 pups. Rebel is on the right and was the mother of Sandie on the left. They are forever in my heart.

It is almost cold here this morning, only 66 F when we went out grocery shopping.
This is a serious concern for the coming winter, we know we will have strict rules not to waste gas and electricity. For sure this means colder houses for the winter.
Roscoe is a lovely boy but he seems to show a temper time by time. I hope the harness will fit.

Today it was hotter here then at y our place.
The evenings it cools off, which is nice as it stays that way until about 9am the next morning.
I bought a thunder jacket for Ellie years ago, and she never liked it either.
We thought it would help her with car sickness, but it did not, it just indicated to her, in advance, that she would be going for a car ride. And back then we lived about an hour part, so it was always a long car ride. Putting lavender essential oil was a better way to relax her.

I say enjoy the cool weather while it lasts, cute pups. Chewy is very nice and run by good people. When my sister's cat passed away they sent flowers..What other business would do that?

Yes he is. I think he probably had a few bad experiences when he was still in the humane society, pups are so easily traumatized if something bad happens to them when they're as young as 5 weeks old, they never forget.

First of all, your first 2 pups look like complete angels! Also, glad you were able to get things straightened out with the vest for Roscoe. I also use Chewy, and they have always bent over backwards when it comes to shipping things out right away and any customer service needs we've had. Also, thanks for the bonus Bon Jove YouTube link!
