My Fish Wishes

I had salmon and green beans for dinner last night. It was so good. Not used to having good fish at all. I do get the trout dinner from Cracker Barrel as my once-a-month eat-out treat.
I got us some frozen cod fish in our groceries last month. How horrid that was. The outside was firm and not flakey. It was awful. Never again.
I am going to try to eat fish at least once a week from now on. Not the batter-covered fish stick things they sell now but, actual fresh fish. It will be rather expensive but I need to eat better and that will be one way to do so.
Will see how it goes.

I am making salmon patties with canned salmon tonight. I have been hungry for them. My sister had me make her some the other day and she shared them with a neighbor. She really needs to eat healthier, but does not want to cook, so I cook when I visit.

Frequently eating fish, isn't it boring or too much? What about chicken meat? Beef? Pork?

Those are boring me. Chicken this and chicken that. Why not use fish?

My husband likes salmon patties. Salmon is not a favorite of mine. It's good that you eat fish occasionally.

I love fish. But yes, fresh is the best. Although expensive. I do like frozen tilapia quite a lot though. But the best and favorite fish for me is Mahi, salmon, grouper, and catfish. Of course I like trout and perch and bluegill and many others. I just like fish. lol

Tilapia is good. I use it for my fish tacos. I do like catfish but don't get it around here much. Could eat fish every day for a long time.

I'd like to eat more fish, too, but just don't feel like cooking much. Sometimes I don't even feel like opening a can of tuna.

I am so sick of tuna. We eat it so often when we are down to not much around so I am tired of it. Salmon and trout are my favorites.

@celticeagle Salmon can be so good. I steam it and have it with baby potatoes and greens of some sort.
