Got Up at the Crack of Dawn

No, no. Not just because my wife happens to be named Dawn, and when I got up this morning she happened to be turned away from me in the bed.
I just got up around a little after 5am and got my day started.
Not that that is unusual, mind you. I do occasionally sleep in a little bit on a weekend. But it's not often.
I just had nothing else to post about this morning and thought I'd spread a little play on words for whatever that is worth.
By the way, I posted on my Facebook this morning that "Some days life is like a sofa. You just have to deal with asses all day."
I wonder who I will encounter today? lol

5 am is too early to wake up. If I ever get up this early it's to go pee and then I go straight back to bed.

@porwest But what do you do at 5 am lol? If you get up at say 7 you still have a lot of time to do things and enjoy the day.

It's not that I necessarily accomplish a lot. But it is definitely some me time, and I tend to cherish that very much. Of course, I can never play my guitar while the wife is still sleeping.
There WAS one morning I turned my amp all the way up and struck a massive E chord, and I swear I almost wound up with a busted guitar over my head. She did not think it was as funny a stunt as I did. lol

I get up at 5am every weekday, but usually try to sleep in late on weekends. I say usually because I often find myself waking up early for no reason other than it is habit. Last night, I got home super late from attending the University of Florida football game (it was a nail-biter to the end), and so I fully expected to sleep in til noon today. Nope, woke up at 7, so got up and went and washed my truck before the heat of the day set in (yes, it's still ridiculously hot here in Florida). But now I'm super tired. I'm sure I'll nap most of the afternoon while watching NFL games.

My wife usually wakes up 3 am and she does laundry and finishes it at 6 am.
