to make 30 pieces of blueberry muffins. I have to make them this coming Sunday and they will be collected on the following day, Monday. I have no time for that day as I have to work in the morning and have a doctors’ appointment in the afternoon. Besides that, Sunday is my free day, my Me day, a resting day for me. That means I will only read, watch tv and blog besides cooking.
Do you have a day for yourself alone when you will do what your heart wants?
I didn’t decline though for the writing gig that was offered to me by the Pilya Blog Magazine where I am a writer for 7 years now. I have to submit it on the end of this month. We have the 7th year anniversary this coming October. So I am really busy.
How’s the weather in your place? This evening, we have only 11C and during the day, we had 16C. It is getting colder every day. We don’t put the heater on, yet.

Me time or day should be our alone time. Maybe you can accept that job some other time since you are also busy with the anniversary write up for the magazine.

I guess it is not worth not taking it if you are not up to it. So better decline than force yourself to work on it if you have no time to do it and you are pretty occupied already. I think the customer would understand it especially if you do that occasionally.

@cacay1 my wife went to stop the kids at their tuition center through scooty and they all got wet and came back. Meanwhile, I came back home, both kids changed their clothes and then I dropped them at the tuition center in the car. It's raining hard here too.

I am retired; so every day is a me day. The weather has turned cool; and the humidity is gone. I wish it could stay like this forever; but winter will be here soon. Have a good day.

Lovely cupcakes and tulips in the photo. Still quite hot and humid in Florida and in the 80s at night. I am glad now that I have company three kittens Ringo, Michelle, and Sydney, I was going to only have 2 but when Sydney was born even though she is a girl she reminded me so much of Sid I had to keep her.

Yesterday I was out and it was really nice. I have our Sabbath that I look forward to each week that I rest and am not on the computer and no TV. I love that day but it goes by too fast. You have the right to decline things if you do not have the time or want to do them. Do what is best for yourself.
