BRRRRRR Its Chilly

We got down to 39 F overnight. I dont like that. We are supposed to get into the 60s today. That isnt to bad with the sun out.
I know I will be wearing my hoodie at the auction. But this is goodie day hopefully. I am hoping the guy brings us a lot of fun things today. Especially things I can use for stocking stuffers for the adult kids. I ordered the Jurassic World 5 movie set for Monster. That will finish Monster for us. I also only want some stocking gifts for the others now. It feels good to be almost done. Hubbies daughter wanted to know what to get her so I suggested the last movie in the set to her. I also gave her a couple of cheaper ideas for me and her dad.
Its getting close to time to get ready now. So I hope everyone has a good day.

We were at 54F again this morning but we're supposed to reach 80F by this afternoon. (It's 69F in the house and I'm surprised Pretty didn't turn on the heater. 
It feels fine to me. I'm still only using a sheet over me in bed at night.)
Otherwise, I'm having fun this morning. My eyes are almost swollen shut... I'm lying on the keyboard of my laptop to see to type. I'll go to sleep in a little while, so it won't matter that I can't see.

Oh, I'm so sorry you aren't having a good day with the eye swelling. I do wish your doctor could think of something that would work to help with that, I know you must be miserable.

@MarieCoyle Thank you. Most of the time, I just go to sleep when my eyes swell up like this so it doesn't matter. At least the medicated eye drops keep my eyes from burning/stinging while they're swollen.

Cool nights and nice days, I hope we have a long spell of that type of weather. It's wonderful to be able to not run either the AC or the heat. I will enjoy that while it lasts. I know that I will end up turning the central AC back on now and then, as if I don't run something the allergies kick in to make me miserable, but for now, it's nice to know it's not running.

I want a little more warmth back. This morning was too cool. Hubby did have the pellet burner going when I got up.

@MarieCoyle This is cool for us this time of year. We are usually about 10 degrees F warmer. But the 70s will be back soon according to the weather forecast

Well, it's time for fall...no doubt we will have some more warm days or what they term as Indian summer. It's time for our little corner of the earth to rest and regroup for the spring.

It was a chilly night here too and I had to put a blanket on my bed. Felt so good to be all snuggled under the covers.
Wow I can't believe you're already almost finished with your Christmas shopping. I wish I was but I can't even think of a single thing to buy anyone yet.

You could tell your kids to give you suggestions on what they want or you'll get each of them a McDonald's Gift Certificate and call that good.

We are thinking of getting a small Amazon gift card for each of the 3 to finish their presents off as many came from the auction or thrift store. But they are things I know the kids will like.

We turned on the heat on Thursday. Hubby gets cold and puts his space heater on as well. I will look for your post on what you scored at the auction.

I got a HUGE surprise when I dug out my jeans and sweatshirt: they’re too big! I knew I’d lost weight, but to see it on clothes that had been so stinking tight on me before is just mind blowing! Hope you have (had by the time you see this) fun at the auction!
