Good morning, friends. Spring is here and the sun shines. I am happy for many things. And one of them is that we won´t have to wear masks except for hospitals. That does not mean that I will stop caring for my health. I will wear a mask to go out and I will still keep social distance. Today I will mostly be glued to the TV. It is elections day in Brazil and it is very important for the whole South America. Still I´ll make some time to mylot a bit. Right now I´m going to your recent posts

Same here. Still, the economy will be helped. I almost never go to a restaurant and I don´t go to many stores so I don´t mind.

@marguicha same here. If we were to dine out, we only take off our masks when were about to eat and we put them back on when we ask something from the servers/waiters

Most of our country changed the mask mandate last spring here. All hospitals, and medical offices as well as some other businesses require masks still. I never ever went without mine, I value my health too much and covid is still here.

@Juliaacv That´s why I will still go out with masks. And I will stick to taxis and Uber instead of public transportation. For me social distance is a must.

Covid won´t go away. This is a remainder that we have to be more careful.

@marguicha What I found was when the masks were no longer mandatory, people lost all of their common sense that they learned during the pandemic. They no longer observed safe distancing, which is a worry to me.

Almost the same situation here, but me and my family is still practicing social distancing and we wear mask when we're in public places. Enjoy your day!

We human beings were not meant to live in big cities with lots of people. The air is foul and there are ailments due to that.

@marguicha I live in a rural area so it's less crowded here. I do agree, crowded big city is not an ideal setup for us all.

Masks are mostly optional here except for hospitals too. But in a fortnight, we'll no longer be required to isolate if we get covid.

I don´t know about isolation here. But when I had covid, I stayed put and did not accept visits.

@marguicha They are now saying there is a new sub-variant of the omicron strain just taking off in Australia.

Our hospitals and doctors' offices still require masks. I hope the elections turn out the way you want. Have a good week.

I don´t much understand US politics. I hope they turn the way YOU want them. The only times I get pissed is when people get rude to people who don´t think like they do.

@marguicha Every one of the Republican candidates in my county won on Tuesday. That's a shame.

Masks have never been mandatory for most of the US but we will continue to wear ours when we go out of the house. I like having fewer allergic reactions and no colds for the last two years, too. I hope you're enjoying your day today.

@marguicha Other people are starting to make fun of us for still wearing our masks here. I don't care. I haven't had a cold or the flu, either, since we started wearing them. I am eating some delicious red grapes while I'm talking on myLot. (I'll be going back to sleep in a little while. My eyes are swollen and hurting looking at my laptop screen.)

Covid will get worse if people begin to think that they are immoertals.

There are also not masks around here. After the major storm we had, I was sad that the big lovely tree across the street on a neighbor's property was knocked down and now that corner looks so empty. Funny how one tree can make such a difference

We aren’t required to wear masks every time we go out but we are required at hospital and doctors offices. I do wear a mask when I go inside stores or businesses.
