This post is for @MALUSE since she wanted to see what they look like. The idea behind these jars came from a Skinnytaste recipe for cinnamon apple yogurt bowls. I liked the idea of the flavor combination and decided to make mason jars to bring to work each morning for breakfast. In addition to the cooked cinnamon-apple mixture I've added fresh chopped Granny Smith apple (sprinkled with lemon juice so they don't turn brown). I will add vanilla almond granola on top each morning for extra crunch. So breakfast is now done for the next 5 days. Delicious and healthy too!

Now I too get a fair idea about that.. Thanks for sharing the picture. And you have your yummy breakfast to go for the whole week. That's smart and time saving

It is plain nonfat Greek yogurt. You could use full fat or vanilla flavored if you want. Hell you can use anything you want!

Great idea. I have time to eat at home but there are days I need a lunch and this would be great.

Good idea and I like it! I confess I am a bit surprised that the cut-up apple will last 5 days and still look fresh!
