Lightning & thunders scared me

Suddenly a heavy downpour with a strong wind bothered us right after after lunch.
I was making the hat project of made of chip board of my grade 4 granddaughter. I finished it past one. Then I accompanied my granddaughter to her school. She's already late. We took the motorized tricycle to go fast to school.
Since our house is just a stone throw away, I decided to walk under the heavy rains. I had an umbrella. I kept on stopping when a lightning flashes followed by a loud rumblings of thunder. I finally reached home after enduring 5 times flashes of lightning and thunders big roar.
That's the first I experienced that scary moments.

I remember my dog whenever there is thunder and lighting he gets near to me lol.
and I don't like that dog because he bullies other dogs lol

Yeah, I think I would also be afraid especially when you are out in the open and there are thunderstorms happening there. But I think getting hit by lightning is highly unlikely but it still is risky to be out in the open when these things are happening.

That's what I'm afraid of. It's too risky and dangerous to be out in the open.

@Nakitakona yeah sometimes there’s nothing you can do. I’d have probably run as fast as I could.

@shaggin That would be the last recourse.

I don't like to be outside when either thunder or lightning happens. I do enjoy it inside though. Very much. It is so envigorating.

Lightning and thunder is scarey even when you are in your house.
