Walmart cards for Research

Normally, when you do research you have to wait for a check, but sometimes they will put your cash on debit card for the study. Walmart cards are a little different, but hey you can always use them. I hit it on the way home since I had 75 dollars worth. I managed to spend most of it, got a few good buys, but in General, I dont find Walmart to be the least expensive place to buy things...Although, one thing, there frozen veggies are still 1,00, and got some new jammies to take on my trip, etc, etc. Large size veggie lasgana for 6 something, and odds and ends of things I needed. So, was a worthwhile trip.

That sound a good shopping trip. I am going tomorrow to search for a very warm PJs, nights are getting colder and we cannot rise the heating.

I still want to get some warm winter PJS. The ones I bought are not very heavy duty. I can't find the top for my one winter PJ set, and that one is worse for wear anyway.

@snowy22315 - I want to buy not very expensive to wear in bed, just in case we go out of heating.

So you did some kind of research that paid you $75? Is it something anyone could do?

@rebelann Well I was a participant. Today's session was about an hour and a half.

That's an interesting idea. Did you have to spend a lot of time doing the research?

Frozen vegies for a buck? Good going. I hope they are better quality than the Great Value cream cheese that I bought years ago.

Not much difference in frozen veggies than I can see, although sometimes if you get chopped brocoli, it may include some stems, that is not just Walmart but anywhere.

@snowy22315 Broccoli stems are okay if they aren't those wooden junky ones.

@sallypup wooden?? I have never come across wood in broccoli stems. They just taste like stems.

That’s awesome you got $75 in gift cards for Walmart. Where do you find cheaper? I find Aldis to be cheaper for most things but no where else is lower around here.

We have a cheap store here that is good for certain things. It is called Shoppers Value, but it isn't nationwide. Another one that is good is Sharp Shopper but not nationwide either. Some things are cheaper at Costco as well but of course then you have a big volume I like Aldi and Lidl too.
