I did a lot today in spite of my knee pain. Escalivada for dinner.

As I told you, Diego will not be coming back. He will stay at his mother´s house here for a couple of days and then he will go to the seashore with his father for another couple of days. Then he´ll be going to the south to live with Tania. He will have to look for another job as he quit the job he had. I told him to ask his old boss for references. With Anita we even washed again the terrace chair covers. And I brought the upstair´s dawn bed to the sun to air it. I left it in another room and sprayed the room´s bookshelves with Raid. The only poisonous bug we have in this country is the brown recluse (a spider) and I have heard that it lives in most houses. With all that I did not have either the time nor the willingness to go to the dentist. My knees started to hurt a lot in spite of the pill I took. So, after a while I lay down in bed and did some errands from the computer. Before going back to bed, I made an escalivada and left it cooking. Later on, I ate a great part of it with toasted ciabatta bread. I always cook the escalivada in lots of olive oil because that oil full of the aroma of the baked eggpplant is perfect to soak bread. I´ll check now some of your posts and some notifications and then I will turn off the lights. I hope I can go tomorrow to the dentist. Sleep tieght, friends. See you tomorrow
