With hubby having stomach troubles again, we are taking it easy.
His mind wants Italian sub sandwiches, but he bought one the other night and got sick. His mind wants sausages, salami, ham, etc. All hard to digest. He would like to try a banh mi sandwich (Vietnamese). But we are not doing that today.
Yesterday he had oatmeal, bananas, at lunch a classic roast beef sandwich, last night peanut butter and jelly.
He felt sick during church and went out to the car so if he did get sick it would not be inside. We went to Arby's at noon while we were out and had a classic roast beef. He would have preferred a Reuben but I think it would not be easily digested.
I made jello and blended it with yogurt for a soothing but light treat in the evening..
We figure the stress of fasting, and the flu shot set him back a bit. It seems one step forward, two steps back.

I'm sure he is really fed up with not being able to eat a greater variety of food. I guess you are too.

I sympathize. I want Tex-mex, but my stomach is saying “You’d better keep the heck away from Chuy’s.” So, I am.

I'm having stomach troubles, too... well, gut troubles. Gas, gas, gas, and of course gas pains. I also got a migraine part way through the night. I didn't want to take anything for it because of the gut pain, but when I got up this morning I had itchy eyes and a runny nose, so ended up taking a benadryl, which has acetaminophen in it, so everything seems to be under control (except for the gas). I'll be going back to bed after I finish interwebbing.

I'm sorry Bob is not feeling well. Best to stick to easier foods to digest for a while. I'm glad you are monitoring his diet! Hope you two have a good Monday.
