Christopher the Straw Stealing Cat / myLot

Don’t ask me why my granddaughter named him Christopher, I don’t have a clue. He joined our household under protest because we already had a house cat but pretty quickly stole the show with his antics! His favorite activity is to remove the straws from everybody’s cups and stash them around the house to play with. I took this picture of Chris a few days ago. He paused his straw wrestling match to pose for me.

They are funny. I used to have one that loved to play with milk rings. They were his favorite toy. He also liked to chase and retreive popcorn kernels. He was a funny cat.

@HomewardBound The one I have now is crazy for squirrels. All you have to do is say the word and he hightails it for the widnow...lol.

Cats have some quirks. A friend of mine had one who would steal the headphones from your music player and another who brought in crisp/chip packets

That’s so funny he likes to steal straws. Animals too have their own personalities. My niece just named the Siamese cat I gave her Stuart. Christopher and Stuart are odd names for cats

We have two cats and one dog at home. But I prefer dogs to cats. I'm afraid of their claws. But my grandkid said they withdraw them when playing with you.

My Shelby Ann will steal straws as well but she will chew them and wind up upchucking.

I keep them away. Christopher is such a pretty kitty.

Cats do some pretty funny things. We have two, and Grayson had a habit of stealing our pens and batting them around. We found a ton of them in the basement. lol
