Meghan, Just Shut Up

This kind of stuff is frankly becoming a little bit tiring. I am speaking about Meghan Markle coming out and saying that she felt "objectified" when she did a stint on the popular game show Deal or No Deal, as a "case girl."
"I felt objectified and not smart."
Look. That's the job. Does a Hooters girl get hired to look smart? Or does she get hired because she has the body type that fits the role? How about the scantily clad girls hired in Las Vegas to serve drinks to gambling customers? Or what about other such jobs where that's simply the qualification?
To look pretty and that's it.
If you don't want to be "objectified," then simply do not apply for a job where that will be the job.
Beyond that, there are many types of jobs where "smarts" is not necessary to get it. Sports team mascots, for example. The guy out waving at cars in the Liberty Tax costume.
To apply for and accept a job and all of the benefits of that job and then complain you were actually asked to do perform exactly the job you were hired for is simply stupid. There is no other way of putting it.
Meghan Markle wants attention. That's simply it. She wants to play victim. Many women, and frankly people want that role above all else. And beyond that, what they want more is to make villains out of nearly everyone around them.
I am sorry, but I don't have an ounce of sympathy for her nor an ounce of care about her complaint.

People tend to fall for these victim stories. Lots of people want to be victims themselves. For some people I think it makes life easier for them because if they can claim to be a victim they don't have to work too hard at being something else, and they can use the victim status as an excuse to justify their shortcomings.

Neither do I. She is "royalty," even if she has basically walked away from that. She has had a life anyone would love to have. Brains, great looks, married to a former prince, riches beyond imagination, luxury, people showering her with attention and pampering her to the hilt...
And she claims she is a victim of bigotry, of sexism, of whatever is next on her list.
However controversial it may be for me to utter these very blunt words, I cannot help myself simply because in this application it happens to be the only words that seem to fit...
B*tch, please.

@porwest I can agree there. She's why the rich often get stereotyped as being stuck up and rude people with a chip on their shoulder. Like the world owes them something because of wealth.

That's your opinion. You're entitled for it. Sorry, I have no idea about this beautiful girl.

I agree with you that anyone does not like the work that they are asked to do, then step aside and let someone who loves what they do for a living or guest appearance on a show.

I respect your every opinion about Meghan, regardless of whether she is good or bad. I think she is a lucky woman, but she is ungrateful and corrects her behavior so that it is seen by the public. I hope something changes even though he's out of the kingdom. happy to share stories

But I won't waste my time on them. I just want them to get lost.

But I totally agree with your opinion.
