My mom used the beads to make a pair of persimmon and I would like you to know @stringer321 It seems simple but somewhat I can't do it at all. Why persimmon? As it means everything goes well and something like that. This is a good wish sign And right now it is the season of persimmons and we can see many of them in the fruit stores. I think in the north places there are many persimmon in the trees and the scenes are quite beautiful. I still remember it.

Wow!! That looks beautiful! Your mom is really talented.. I love persimmon. It's not very common here. But I definitely get them whenever I spot them in the market.

@stringer321 We have a plenty of them. We have a diverse climate and topography here. So, we do get a lot of varieties. My favourite are mango, litchi, jackfruit and guava. I like almost all fruits. I am frugivorous

Your mom always does a nice job making things with crochet or beads. I wish I could do that, too.

I think you can easily learn it if she shows to you how to make it

@DaddyEvil I work as a security guard so, I have time for some hobbies at work, when everything is quiet, and nothing happens. I read books, listen to youtube videos, make some food and look around at the environment to see everything is normal. What makes you busy these days ?

Nice, thanks for sharing. It looks complicated: it requires the beads to have the edges that allow them to create the polygons of 6 equal borders, and another simple shape with 4 equal borders. So, your mom also practices some 3D geometric knowledge: she knows how to make a complex 3D object using smaller simpler ones, like triangles and etc... She does it with beads and a string. She can give inspiration for 3D game developers :-) Those persimmons are beautiful, with the leaves, the orange beads, the shape. What is their size (height, width in inches or centimeters) ? How much time did it take her to make them ?

The size is not very big. It is similar to an egg. As I haven't them in hand and I can not measure them to give you an accurate meaturement. I think it won't spend her long time making them as it seems not very difficult for her By the way, she may knit a very little bag for my mobile phone and it is an Angry Bird figure. I look forward to it

@youless I have an idea: she can make the bag to fit the mobile phone, keep a hole for the camera lense, somehow, to make a string to hang the bag on the neck, and still make the bag not too dense so you can touch the screen through it. The persimmons are made of a net that is made of polygons, the bag can be made of squares. What else, she can make a bag for a vehicle camera that can be hanged with strings and a vaccum stickers (like a small doll has the string with the rubber lense that can stick to the window).

@youless It can help someone wants to record something on the phone video camera, without holding the phone in hand, just to hang it on the neck. he can start recording, hang the phone on the neck... Can also record sound with the sound recorder, play some music...

Those are really beautiful. I can't tell how big they are but, if they were small, they'd make great earrings.

It is a good idea to make them as earrings anyway

Agree, those could also make a good necklace or a bracelet.

@stringer321 @youless has described the persimmons size. He wrote their size was like an egg. Imagine an egg that hangs on the ears like earrings, or hang on the necklace or other kind of an accessory. Too big to be comfortable.
