My electric bill was due yesterday, being a weekend I totally forgot about it, only this AM when I looked and saw it was the 24th I realized I should have paid it already. So, I bopped online and took care of it, although the payment app was slow to come up and took about twice as long as it should.
In other news, a friend of mine from the Northern part of the state was hospitalized yesterday. This is't the friend I always talk about, it's another one. He was in acute pain last night, ripped out his catheter and everything (He also has dementia) they are going to be doing surgery today we think. Poor guy...I will go visit him if he is in the hospital long enough. I don't know how I ever put up with that traffic when I lived there. Yes, he is like my dad in that you can converse with him, but he seems to forget things almost immediately.

@LadyDuck Have you had him checked for dementia. If he can get on medication it can really slow decline.

Good morning. It's 10:35 in the morning. I have just come home from school after I read a story to the Grade IV pupils as a guest reader as per invitation of their class adviser.

Sorry to hear about your friend and hope his surgery goes well. It's sad to hear that he has dementia.

It is sad. He's a nice guy. We might have a rain free week. I will find out when the news comes on.

THank you, I thought he had agreed to the surgery, apparently he hasn't, but his former "girlfriend" has power of attorney so she will make sure he gets it done.
