Sunday is a resting day here

The maid gets a day off. She just does the dishes. Food is cooked the previous day. It just needs to be steamed.
Everything is quiet around here. I do not hear the chirping of the birds either May be they to want a day off. Peppie is sleeping as usual For him every day is a Sunday (lol)
I normally oil my hair on a Sunday and have a luxurious bath so to say taking my own time over it. The oil is special. It is coconut oil where curry leaves are cooked until they turn black The oil is then drained out It is supposed to help the hair turn black and strong too.
How do you spend your Sunday?

My Sundays are mainly for resting but my husband has just reminded me that I need to work on some writing! Most Sundays, my only jobs are to make dinner, clean the bathroom, and spend an hour on some writing or studying. I'm currently still in bed because I'm tired after two late nights in a row. My son is just making me a cup of tea. I'm going to be lazy, though, and not do anything useful until this afternoon.

@allknowing Not studying, I need to work on a book I'm writing. I'm also working on a series of articles but it's my book that's been neglected! I can't remember when I started it but it's taken several years longer than intended so far!

@allknowing Actually, I'm semi-retired. I can relax on any day of the week if I have no assignments to work on.

It does not darken that much - I am hoping that my grey hair will but I still use a dye

Sunday is usually a fun day for me, and by that, I mean, I should be relaxing as it is my Sabbath.

We switched back to "winter time" today. I woke up at the usual time and it is so quiet outside. I think that some are away because Tuesday is a holiday and they took a long weekend. The birds are still sleeping, because it's still dark outside.
