Surprise for my Nanny....

Perth, Australia

I have yet to answer my recent post and some other notifications to which I will get to later tonight or tomorrow. I've been doing a lot around the house today and ready to just have a hot bath and relax. My legs and back are so sore. As most of you know, my Nanny hasn't been well. In my last post I said her Covid test was negative but I was mistaken. She's actually still positive. My dad and I have been calling her often to make sure she's alright and see if she needs anything. Yesterday, dad and I went to the shops quite early to pick up some flowers, a card, some fruit and ingredients for me to make her Thai Green Chicken Curry. Once I was finished making the Thai Green Chicken Curry, my dad rang my Nan to let her know we were coming to drop something off. She didn't know what we were dropping off so she was very surprised and happy for what we brought to her. We left it on the table outside her front door and spoke to her through the door. She was very grateful. Made me happy to help her out. Later in the evening I spoke to her over the phone and she said how nice the food was and that she was happy she could actually taste it as she lost her sense of taste while having Covid. That really made me happy. I'm glad she's got dinner for a few nights and some healthy fruit to have here and there. I will feel more relaxed once I know she's Covid free. I worry about her passing out again! ****photo is mine****

@Nakitakona I don't really remember what happened to be honest. I don't know if my Nanny heard wrong or a nurse / doctor said the wrong thing. Not sure. I'm just glad she is Covid free now.

Who is with her at this time? Is there someone looking after her? I think for as long as she is vaccinated it could greatly help her recover from it soon. Just look for symptoms like difficulty breathing since that means it is getting serious. I know most vaccinated people do not get to that stage anymore.
