Stuff I want to do today

Got a call yesterday that my new eye glasses are ready. Will ask hubby to drive me to the store to pick them up. Rather do that than take a bus another day.
And two novels I had placed on hold at the library—The Winners by Fredrik Backman and The Magnolia Palace by Fiona Davis are ready for pick-up as well. Will stop by the library today so I can start reading them.
It would also be great if we could stop by the lighting store and look for a new fan with lights for the kitchen. I want one with only three blades and those that are not very long. I hate long-bladed fans. They are bulky to me. The old fan we have is Casablanca and I love the way it looks. Wonder if this brand still exists and if similar fans are available out there, even if from a different brand.
I made tonight’s dinner yesterday so no need to worry about cooking or having the time for it. I made chunks of beef with potatoes, carrots, and onions in a Staub cocotte. I hope it tastes good. Haven’t tried it yet.

Did you try looking up that brand online to see if it was still in production as well as what store currently had it in stock?

Your dinner sounds good. I hope you can find a fan that you like. We have reverse cycle air-con so we haven't worried about having fans put in.

Lowe's is one place that they still carry Casablanca fans. They have a 44" 3-blade on their website. Good luck!

Last night we went to Asia Mall in capital city. I happened to pass by to a FULLY BOOKED store. There were a lot of best-selling books. I took one and checked the prize which Php 1;112.00 (22.14 USD). It's too costly. I didn't but it.
