I have to go to the dentist again next monday. Money problems. / myLot

I have an appointment to another dentist next monday. The dentist I saw yesterday wants me to go to another dentist first, to see about an implant in the other side of my mouth. She wants the other dentist to see that and to give me an estimate of what he will have to do before she starts the work at my molar. So I´m going there first but I will not do the implant work until next year. I simply don´t have the money although there are ways to pay for it in installments. But first I will go to the Bank tomorrow. A very stupid person by phone told me that I HAD to pay all that I had spent on my credit card every month. As I see it, that is not what credit cards are for. And right now, for the first time in many years, I need to use it as everyone else in the world uses a credit card. With that taken care of, I can manage my finances and see what part of the dentist work I do first.

Hope you can get the teeth done. The phone call sounds like it could be a scam one trying to get you to panic and pay them.

I called the Bank so it was not a sxam. But on Monday I will go and talk with my executive.

@wolfgirl569 I had not heard of it either. But as my dentist is by the Bank, I´ll pay a visit to the Bank after the dentist.

You do not have to pay the credit card every month but the interest can do a lot of damage to people. When you can it is best to pay it every month but when you can’t like now it’s lucky to have that option.

Credit cards are nice to have for a multitude of reasons. Having to go to more than one dentist would be traumatizing for me. I hope it all goes smoothly for you.

When I subscribed to have the credit card, I had to check-mark the option if I would decide not to pay the full amount at the end of the month. May be it's just a matter to add a signature.

Are you sure that person on the phone was from your bank? It sounds suspicious to me! Everyone can make the minimum payment each month if he/she so desires! Good luck with getting that straightened out.
