My Hubby is Sick

My husband has come down with what I hope is just a head cold...stuffed nose and a bit of a sore throat and cough. We are due to leave next week for a vacation and I hope he is better by then and that I don't get sick. And I hope it's not Covid because he is very stubborn and won't do a test for it.
I think I will be sleeping on the couch for the next few nights. Not too comfy but better than getting sick, right?!

I agree with you, but he refuses. Not much I can do about it. We have argued about it n the past.

We have all been sick the last few days too. It started with he child getting the flu, then he gave it to grandma. They have been up at my MIL's house sharing germs. Then Thursday I think it was I started feeling rough and it got progressively worse. Friday we went to the ER, and they said it was sinus. But gave me three different prescriptions. Chris seems to have caught what I have.
So I hope your hubby only has a head cold, because a lot of nasty is going around.

Yes, seems as though it was just a head cold. I have been sleeping on the couch all week so I don't get it. So far, so good. He is not happy that I have been treating him like a leper, but too bad! I really don't want to get sick.

Thanks. It has been a week and he is finally starting to feel better. I keep telling him that a cold lasts 7 to 10 days. He may finally start to believe me!

It's day 8, but he isn't completely over it yet. I read online that cold germs can last for 2 weeks. Ugh!

There's a lot of colds and sore throats going around. I've heard so many people saying they're sick. Hope your hubby gets better soon and that you stay well and you both can enjoy the planned vacation.

@Kouponkaren glad he's doing better but you're smart to stay on the couch for a few extra days. I can imagine it would get very bright early if you have floor to ceiling windows but I bet aside from that those windows are beautiful. I would love to have floor to ceiling windows.

So far so good but I am afraid he is still contagious so I am still on the couch. It's not TOO bad, but the living room has floor-to-ceiling windows and it gets bright early in here.
