A small grease fire in our building

Our neighbors across the hall from us had a small grease fire. They got it out quickly but our building was filled with smoke and the fire alarm was going off in the hallway. We all had to go outside until the firefighters cleared us to come back in. Our neighbor burned her hand a bit but it could have been much worse. We had some burn cream so my SO doctored her up. Her little boy is 18 months old. He was so excited to see the fire truck. That was enough excitement for me on a Friday afternoon.

@Happy2BeMe When I was a child our house burned to the ground. We only saved the clothes we were wearing.

I'm glad it wasn't any worse than that there. And I'm sure it scared everybody until the reason for the fire alarm could be ascertained. Oh, yeah, you've had enough excitement for today.

I'm sure her son was the only one excited to see the firetruck. I'm glad she'll be all right and no serious damage was done to the apartment.
