A Missouri man who lives in O'Fallon and a friend went to a QuikTrip store with a close friend that he knew since they were in seventh grade to purchase a Powerball ticket on June 11.
The catch is that the name of the lottery winner refused to reveal his name since he wants to keep his privacy to avoid strangers asking him for money.
The lottery winner kept the winning lottery ticket inside of his home for a while until he remembered to take the winning lottery ticket to the QuikTrip store to see if the lottery ticket had a winning prize/
The man who bought the winning lottery ticket was surprised that the clerk who was behind the counter informed the lottery ticket that he won $50,000 dollars.
After the lucky lottery winner found out that he won $50,000 dollars, he did share the good news to his wife.
The lucky lottery winner after he visited the Missouri Lottery Office will not reveal how he intends to spend his lottery winnings. It is a smart move of his part to keep quiet since a quiet man is happier than a person who reveals what his or her plans are when they win a huge lottery prize.

Most likely going to happen since casinos are a temptation for gamblers in the first place.

@celticeagle I have heard the horror stories from former gamblers who mention that casino owners are in it to make money since they could not care if a gambler blows their money.

Success gets to their head and some of them blow the money on wants and not needs.

It is a good idea since I have heard the horror stories of the lottery winner being robbed by strangers or being overcharged by businessman that they do business with by overcharging them for repair work.

@LindaOHio I have heard stories on television about some persons who are rich claiming that when they get repairs from their places of business like auto repairs, they are overcharged.
