We Went to Nashville, TN

I mentioned that my husband was sick with a cold but the reason I think he got sick is that we were at a conference in Nashville and we were exposed to about 2,000 people at the Convention Center. It's that time of year when people get sick due to the changing weather. Travel stresses him out so that didn't help. We had a great time, although I had a better time than he did. I helped him at the exhibit table half of each day, and then in the afternoon on the first day, I went to a HUGE used bookware house called McKays. It was so much fun. I was there for over 2 hours and could have stayed another hour if I had the time. The next day in the afternoon I went to Mike Wolfe's Antique Archaeology. He's the guy on American Pickers. That's the name of his store in Nashville. I am hooked on that show and couldn't miss the chance t go to his store. Do you watch American Pickers?

You can’t drag me out of Nashville without me spending a lot of money there. My store of choice is the Great Escape, which is a used record store. As I love country music, it’s the perfect location for finding country albums. No, I’ve never seen American Pickers. I don’t have cable or satellite.

I don't watch live TV but eons ago I saw one or two episodes of American Pickers. I felt sorry for the folks that didn't know the value of their stuff. I'm sorry about your husband getting sick.

I hope your husband is better soon. Sorry he got sick. Lots of colds and flu going around. I live close to where you two were. I used to be a big fan of Pickers.

I'm not familiar with American Pickers, You have had a busy and enjoyable day. I hope your husband gets well soon, and that you could travel together again to some happy place again. It's great to be in a bookstore. I wish they have something more varied here in my area.
