One week ago, A deer that saw his own reflection outside of the home of Sue and Richard Sujecki who live in West Allis Wisconsin through the front. Window of their home. The elderly couple who had their front door open which allowed the two year old deer wrecked their home for a period of about three hours since the deer was trying to get out of the Sujecki house. The deer was trapped in the second floor of the two story home for three hours until Richard call his son as well as the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to see if they could get the deer out of the Sujecki home. The DNR officers were able to get the deer out of the Sujecki home safely even though the deer did suffer cuts on his body after crashing into the objects inside of their home. Even though the house was damaged by the deer, the deer was released to go back into his home.

How sad for the deer. Birds often see their reflection too. Glad the deer was rescued safely.

I know what you mean since the deer saw not only his reflection but other deer made of wood outside of the home.

@popciclecold I know if I were in the shoes of the Sujecki couple and saw a live deer trying to get out of their home wrecking everything in sight, I would scream as well.

@Deepizzaguy A deer would wreck a home and everything in it, I would think.

I wonder how the deer got to the second floor. I guess he must have gone up the steps.

I'm sorry that the deer was injured. I'm surprised that they didn't call the DNR sooner.

I think that couple in West Allis were in panic mode dealing with the deer to make the call to the authorities.
