Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too. We have some new home appliances as well as traditional ones. New appliances includes Mixer, Pressure Cooker, Nonstick pans etc. Old appliances includes Grinder, old Pressure Cooker and Spatula. I want to know what appliances you use and prefer. I feel traditional appliances are more strong and good in use as compared to new ones. The taste too differs when made with traditional stuff. Let me know your thoughts about it. Have a good day!! Take care!!

Me too. But even my househelp says taste differs when you grind in traditional mortar.

I still use grinder, old pressure cooker, and spatula...and non stick pans...you see, I have them, and they cannot be thrown away...I am sentimental about them. Most of them are from mom's era...so...

We have a mix of old and new appliances. Sometimes the new ones aren't any quicker and they can take longer to clean.

I really don't consider cooking utensils and pots and pans to be appliances. Here in the US, if someone refers to appliances, it's something that has to be plugged in. I think some people have gone appliance crazy, and I don't know how they ever care for them all, keep them clean, or even find a place to put them. I use mine until they give up and don't work anymore, for the most part. I did recently replace my hand held electric mixer, as mine was so old and it was just tired--it was starting to have fits and slow down and speed up on it's own, so it's gone and I got a different one.
